Fisher & Paykel offers an opportunity for creative exploration for customers, architects and interior designers in their new one-of-a-kind immersive Experience Centre on 98 Wigmore Street, Marylebone.
With every detail paying homage to their New Zealand roots, guests are greeted with an offering of healing Kawakawa tea to enjoy whilst discovering the full potential of Fisher & Paykel appliances to achieve Kitchen Perfection at home or in designs.
Designed in collaboration with Brinkworth Architects, bespoke cabinet maker Jacob Alexander, the Fisher & Paykel design team, and Alt Group, the brand’s strategic partner, it was important for the space to reflect its London postcode through a refined material palette.
Elm surfaces, inspired by London’s famous nearby parks, draw visitors through each space, as well as iconic Portland stone, and deep brown glazed tiles influenced by the subterranean network of of brick-clad waterways that intersect the site.
At the heart of the Experience Centre is the luxurious Social Kitchen, where guests have the option to book a chef-lead Mastery of Temperature culinary experience, which showcases Fisher & Paykel’s approach to food care and cooking.
Other key spaces include a Minimal Kitchen, revealing how the seamless integration of Fisher & Paykel appliances transform a utility area into a crafted, furniture-like space. An Apartment Kitchen, demonstrating the ability to create a luxury kitchen in smaller spaces. And a Fabric Care Solutions space to discover Fisher & Paykel’s evolution of laundry care, and fibre-specific tailored fabric care.
