Quooker taps get new lease of life | A circular approach

The Classic Fusion square tap in polished chrome, from £1,350, combines form and function

With the aim to increase the longevity of its boiling-water taps, Quooker has teamed up with the Used Kitchen Exchange to sustainably re-home its ex-display and pre-owned designs.

This means Quooker taps will be sold below the normal retail price, making them more accessible, and the brand will be able to reduce the amount of waste from its showrooms. The idea behind this is to encourage us as savvy consumers to make more eco-conscious choices when updating and replacing our kitchens, whilst supporting the circular economy too.

All Quooker taps purchased through the Used Kitchen Exchange will be completely re-serviced and rigorously tested to ensure they are in tip-top condition. “Our pre-loved taps now get the chance of second home which we could not be more delighted about,” says Quooker MD Stephen Johnson.

Compared to a kettle which requires more energy to heat water and can often result in wasted water, Quooker taps are designed to dispense the exact amount of boiling, hot, cold, filtered, chilled, or sparkling water that you need. There’s no need to constantly keep boiling as its patented vacuum tank allows for water to be kept at 110 degrees under pressure, without needing to use much energy.

Adding a touch of luxury, the Fusion round tap priced at £2,020, comes in a striking Gold finish sure to impress guests

The full collection of kitchen taps includes contemporary styles in a variety of finishes that will suit any home, with each tap designed to last between 15 to 20 years.
