The World Architecture Festival, an annual celebration of international architecture which includes the biggest international architectural awards programme in the world, returns in style this 2019 with a glittering speaker line-up.
Joining the line-up of speakers for the festival are Doriana Mandrelli Fuksas and Massimiliano Fuksas, joint Directors of Studio Fuksas; Elizabeth Diller, Founder and Partner at Diller Scofidio + Renfro; and Petra Blaisse, Founder and Lead Designer at Inside Out. Elizabeth Diller will be providing the closing keynote address at the event on the 6th December, following an incredible line-up of over 48 speakers including the likes of Ben Van Berkel and Doriana Mandrelli Fuksas and Massimiliano Fuksas.
The three-day event – which runs from the 4th-6th December 2019 – will take place in this year’s host city, Amsterdam, responding to the festival’s theme: ‘Flow’. Speeches, discussions and debates will follow examining ‘the complex and deep-rooted relationship between architecture, design and people, data, nature and power.’
“We are excited to be hosting inspirational speakers from such a wide variety of geographies and backgrounds. We look forward to stimulating presentations and thought-provoking ideas that will form part of the ‘big conversation’ that takes place at WAF each year.” Paul Finch, Programme Director of World Architecture Festival
