Founded in 2012 and based in Winchester, Hampshire, Paul Cashin Architects are a young practice but have quickly made a name for themselves for their contemporary and sensitive approach to design, even when working on heritage or listed buildings and conservation areas.
Their strength lies within the inclusive and personal service they offer clients and their process of communication and collaboration. As a result, they have produced spaces such as the Island Cottage, where modern additions made with traditional materials and methods to an 1830 timber structure create a sympathetic relationship between old and new – and The Fox, a full-scale refurbishment of a dilapidated Grade II listed building transforming it into an established destination for the surrounding area.
