Conceived by a talented husband and wife team, Paul and Maria Le Mesurier, WoodEdit’s designs are always carefully born from rough sawn wood before being honed into something truly unique and functional. Craftsman Paul, is the sole maker for the business. Refining every piece of the collection in his workshop next to the South Downs in West Sussex.

The beauty of this hands-on production method is that it means any of WoodEdit’s designs can be made to a bespoke size in Ash, Walnut of Oak wood, ideal if you’ve got your eye on a piece but it just won’t fit in the original space you’d planned for it.

Meanwhile, Maria – the Creative Director for the brand – designs and styles the furniture creations, effortlessly forming and building WoodEdit’s spirit with every angled table leg and hat-adorned peg rail. It is her aesthetic eye that draws you in to exploring the design further and in more detail – to really discover the brand’s essence and spirit. Inspired by her passion for nature, simplicity and authenticity, you’ll be delighted to hear that Maria also offers interior style consultations when it comes to placing a piece of WoodEdit’s furniture in your home.
