Excellent first edition with a good crossover of architecture and interior design. As an architect, though, I think that the house articles would be better served if plans were reproduced. The plan is after all the backbone of the design and they would demonstrate the concept principles and organisation more clearly than text and photographs alone can.

Hi Raymond, we’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed Volume 1 of enki! And absolutely, we love architectural drawings here too and will be planning to bring more architectural plans on to the website to compliment and support the case studies in the future. Thanks so much for your feedback.

I enjoyed the 1st edition of the magazine & was going to comment about the lack of floor plans to illustrate changes to buildings, but can see Raymond has beaten me to it! So I will add that both before & after plans would be helpful.

Are you planning to include more smaller projects for design, both architecturally & for interior design? Most magazines I’ve looked at in the past typically have larger projects with plenty of space. Most people own more modestly sized houses.

Looking forward to the next issue.

We’re so pleased you enjoyed the first issue, we really enjoy floor plans as well and we’ll certainly take your comments on board.

We hope you continue to enjoy enki! Volume 2 is out on the 2nd May.
