One of the most important events in the cultural calendar, the London Festival of Architecture (LFA) has announced that ‘Power’ will be the theme of the next festival, due to take place across London from 1st – 30th June 2020.

As the world’s largest annual architecture festival (and with a mission to support established and emerging architectural and design talent) the event appeals to a huge audience, both public and within the industry. This year’s show showcased a truly vibrant programme of 566 events that attracted over 800,000 people and reached a global audience of an incredible 138 million people.

The festival aims to explore and examine its new theme ‘Power’ from multiple perspectives, and will open its call for entries in October, inviting those interested to respond with ideas for events.

“The London Festival of Architecture exists to democratise the discussion about architecture and our city. We hope this year will be our biggest conversation yet. If you’ve got an idea for an event for the 2020 London Festival of Architecture, then we want to hear from you. You have it, and we want it!” Tamsie Thomson, director of the London Festival of Architecture (LFA)
