Marking its biggest colour launch to date, B-Corp colour crafters COAT Paints boost its core collection with 33 new timeless tones. Offering more than improved colour choice, the new palette is also designed to thrive under natural light, complementing the cool rays of the northern hemisphere.

Now here’s a colour wheel for the neutrally inclined. Leaning into a more muted series of shades, the 33 new tones from COAT Paints cover everything from earth-inspired reds and foggy greens, to a number of neutrals to suit every minimalist home out there.

By keeping things restrained, COAT allows its consumers to introduce colour to the home without committing to the garishly bright and bold. After all, this isn’t about abiding by trends. It’s about chasing timelessness and finding the colours that’ll set the backdrop to life’s events – those big and small.

“We don’t do fleeting trends – because no one wants to repaint their home as often as they refresh their wardrobe. Instead, we focus on timeless tones that elevate spaces, working seamlessly with natural light and UK architecture,” confirms COAT Paints co-founder Rob Abrahams.

But for the world’s first climate positive paint brand, colour creation encompasses more than simply how a shade is seen. There is, in addition, a huge focus on how a shade is felt.
Taking into consideration the colour, depth and variations of natural light, the new palette has warming undertones to balance out the cool diffusions native to the northern hemisphere.

Rob Abrahams, explains further, “our warm tones are carefully balanced with a touch of black, ensuring they work harmoniously with the UK’s blue-grey light. They shift subtly with the daylight, feeling both grounded and refined.”

Of the 33 new hues, 14 are unarchived favourites from collections of past, including nine which have been drawn directly from COAT Paints’ latest collab with Jojo Barr of House Nine Design.
Like every COAT can, each shade is made-to-order. Finishes include Flat Matt, Soft Sheen, Eggshell, Exterior, Floor Paint and Flat Matt Claypaint.
Prices start from £30 for 1L, £56 for 2.5L, or £96 for 5L.
